  Festivals
Festivals play a large role in the life of a Waldorf student. These are frequently not the usual festivals, but deliberately archaic ones that do not carry as much cultural baggage as, for example, Halloween and Christmas do. In September, rather than celebrating a harvest festival or the Equinox, they celebrate Michaelmas, the feast of St. Michael.
